I was from out of state to visit my elderly mother. On the trip I noticed my brakes making some noise. I talked to David Weimer late one afternoon and he said they could handle it the next morning. I was there at 7:30am and dropped it off. A few hours later he called me and informed me I still had 50% of my pads left and didn't require any service. His honesty will insure my loyalty to the National brand in my location. I highly recommend National Discount Tire& Brake, Inc. for all your Automotive service in the Lafayette area. I called on four different occasions in a 2 week time span to have my oil changed and tires rotated. I was told on every single occasion that I needed to bring my car in at 7:30am and leave it there. This is absurd for something that should be an in and out quick service. I've used this place before without a problem of walking in and getting this type of service done. I had no choice but to bring my car to another business who could get this done as I am taking care of my mom who had COVID and can't be without my car. It appears they are NOT wanting to take any walk in customers but want EVERYONE to go in at 7:30am so they can line up their business for the day!!!! It seems to me to accommodate for oil changes and/or tire rotations, they could have a bay for those services only. VERY DISAPPOINTED in this business and the way it is being run. Tried to give the business to a local Broussard business with no success.

I’m sorry that this is not working out for you. We try our best to get customers in and out in a timely manner. Business is as busy as ever and we try to accommodate everybody with an equal opportunity and have everybody come in as early as possible and do it on a first come first serve basis because it’s the way that’s been working for the past 35 years for us.
